Newcastle Science Festival Roadshow

First day today of the Newcastle Science Festival. I was invited up to participate in the road show, and will be visiting several community centres over the next couple of days. I have been running some 'UV torch' workshops which I developed last term for the Science Museum. These are easy to build, but there are so many things you can do with them once built; investigating fluorescence, phosphorescence, disease transmission, invisible inks, secret marks on credit cards and passports, and much more ...
